Buenos Aires, Argentina.- In the photos taken on April 28, 2024, the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo gave León Gieco the white handkerchief of the Mothers 47 years after their first Thursday March, at the Nuestros Hijos Cultural Space (ECuNHi). This is the first handkerchief delivered by the association since the death of the historic owner, Hebe de Bonafini. It is also the last handkerchief tied by Rosa de Camarotti, known as “Rosita”, who died in August 2022, a job that was completed by Hebe's secretary, Sofía.

Buenos Aires, Argentina.- In the photos taken on November 23, 2023, hundreds of activists accompanied the traditional round of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo, the organization that claims for those missing from the dictatorship in Argentina (1976-83) and that denounces the "denialism" of the future government of Javier Milei. With their characteristic white scarves on their heads, the Mothers also remembered their former president, Hebe de Bonafini, who died a year ago.
