The Cristo Redentor Pass will be closed due to snow and wind warnings in Mendoza.

Mendoza, Argentina.- In the photos taken on June 28, 2023, it shows the carriers stranded in Uspallata after the closure of the Cristo Redentor international crossing. After a weather alert was activated for snowfall and winds in the north of Mendoza, the authorities in charge of the administration of the Cristo Redentor Pass confirmed that the border linking the national territory with Chile will be closed as a preventive measure during Saturday afternoon. The circulation of vehicles will be stopped from 14:00 hours.
