Presidents of Ecuador and Argentina announce the normalization of diplomatic relations
Brussels, Belgium.- In the photo taken on July 19, 2023, the President of Argentina, Alberto Fernández, participated in a meeting with his Ecuadorian counterpart, Guillermo Lasso, during the summit of the European Union with the countries of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), in Brussels. After the meeting, Fernández announced that the two countries resumed relations at the ambassadorial level. Hours later, the president of Ecuador pointed out that both governments began to designate their new ambassadors.
