Images of the volunteer firemen of the emblematic neighborhood of Buenos Aires La Boca. The volunteer firemen of Argentina is a grouping of firemen ad honorem that offers service in all the Argentine territory. Its beginning dates back to when an Italian immigrant Tomas Liberti, from the Buenos Aires neighborhood of La Boca, created on June 2, 1884, the first volunteer firefighters in the country, the headquarters was set up in Calle Brandsen in 567, under the motto "want is power " The date quoted is taken as Volunteer Firefighter Day. There are approximately 900 fire brigades in Argentina, a total of 43,000 men and women, and it is divided into 26 federations.
