The sister of Argentina's new President Javier Milei played a central role during the transfer of power

Javier Milei had the full presence of his sister and confidant, Karina, before, during and after his inauguration as President. Vice President Victoria Villarruel assumed her role in a protocol act after spending a few weeks away from the cabinet assembly, and Fátima Florez, the new President's partner and new First Lady, accompanied the swearing-in ceremony from a box in the House, together with Milei's parents.
