Argentina: teaching unions demand a call for the national joint meeting and warn of protests
Buenos Aires, Argentina.- In the photos taken on April 23, 2024, teachers participated in the protests in favor of Public Education. The four CGT teaching unions with conventional representation throughout the country –UDA, Sadop, AMET and CEA– requested the secretaries of Labor and Education, Julio Cordero and Carlos Torrendell, “to urgently call the national joint meeting to continue the delayed salary negotiation" and warned that there will be protests if the negotiation is delayed.
