Buenos Aires, Argentina.- In the photos, the mayor of La Plata, Julio Alak, led the event in which the Plaza Islas Malvinas and the premises of the cultural center on 19th and 51st avenues were declared a “Site of Memory”. They housed the Officers' Casino of the 7th Infantry Regiment on June 15, 2024. On the occasion of the 42nd anniversary of the end of the war, the new name “Malvinas Islands Cultural and Memory Center” was announced and the assumption of its managers.
