Nguyen Sinh Coong, known as Ho Chi Minh, was the founder of the Vietnamese Republic and leader of the struggle for the independence of France. During World War II it was he who organized the struggle of the Vietnamese against the French and Japanese. and in 1945, taking advantage of the defeat of Japan, proclaimed in Vietnam the independence of Vietnam.
