Sixteen years ago the law that annulled the "laws of forgiveness" was promulgated in Argentina

On September 2, 2003, the Executive Branch, in charge of then President Nestor Kirchner, enacted Law 25,779 that declared the nullity of the Due Obedience and Final Point laws, which until that time prevented those responsible for crimes against humanity during the last Argentine military dictatorship (1976-1983) were tried.

In the archive photo of July 15, 2008, the former president of Argentina during an act of the Justicialist Party, Nestor Kirchner, where he said that "we ended with 30 years of impunity and with the laws of due obedience and endpoint" because "we we want memory, justice and we don't want impunity. " During his tenure in 2003 in Argentina, Law 25,779 was enacted which declared the nullity of the Due Obedience and Final Point laws.

Argentina (1985) .- The court that prosecuted the meetings was the National Federal Criminal and Correctional Appeals Chamber of the Federal Capital, composed of judges Jorge Torlasco, Ricardo Gil Lavedra, León Carlos Arslanián, Jorge Valerga Araoz, Guillermo Ledesma and Andrés J. D'Alessio. The prosecutor was Julio César Strassera with whom the deputy prosecutor Luis Gabriel Moreno Ocampo collaborated, who used the report Never Again by the National Commission on the Disappearance of Persons (Conadep) as evidence. On July 5, 2012, the judgment was handed down by the Federal Oral Court 6, composed of María del Carmen Roqueta, Julio Panelo and Domingo Altieri, in the oral trial that began on February 28, 2011 in the Retirement Courts. The trials were resumed after Argentina passed Law 25,779, which declared the nullity of the Due Obedience and Final Point laws, on September 2, 2003, during the mandate of Nestor Kirchner.
