Bolivia: former interim president Jeanine Áñez was transferred to another prison
La Paz, Bolivia.- In the photo taken on March 21, 2021, former President Jeanine Áñez gives her consent to be transferred to the Miraflores prison. The Bolivian justice increased the preventive detention that former President Jeanine Áñez must serve from four to six months while her responsibility in the coup against Evo Morales in November 2019 is investigated. Áñez is under medical supervision for a picture of hypertension, She was going to be taken to a clinic to have her health evaluated at the request of her defense, but a judge revoked the transfer and decided to relocate her to the Miraflores jail.
