Buenos Aires, Argentina: Workers of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) at the door of the headquarters on 25 May 2024, where they denounced 120 new layoffs in the area and pointed against the government of Javier Milei for the "scrapping of the State" and its institutions. "There are employees with 17 and 20 years of seniority. In my case, as in the case of many others, my contract is renewed every three months; it expires next month and I don't know what is going to happen. This is a massacre, Russian roulette. They are very cruel", said Mariana, one of the professionals who belongs to the training staff.

Buenos Aires, Argentina - In a photo of 21 May 2024, workers of the National Institute against Discrimination, Xenophobia and Racism (INADI) gathered this morning outside the building. The measure was taken after 120 employees received an email notification last night informing them that "it is not appropriate to extend their temporary appointment". "The majority of those dismissed belong to the LGTBIQ+ collective and there is even a person with a disability," said workers at the Institute. On 22 February, the national government announced the closure of INADI and the transfer of the institute's functions to the Ministry of Justice, headed by Mariano Cúneo Libarona.
