Atlanta, United States.- The popular American fast food chain KFC turned to Beyond Meat, the revolutionary company that develops "meat" products based on vegetable proteins, to create a plant-based fried chicken. Beyond Fried Chicken made its debut on August 27 in a limited test of its plant-based chicken and sold out in less than 5 hours. The people of Atlanta, United States, tried Beyond Fried Chicken as part of an exclusive test at a restaurant on August 27 at the Cobb Parkway KFC restaurant near SunTrust Park in Atlanta. Customers could choose between nuggets, or boneless wings, with three delicious sauces: Nashville Hot, Buffalo or Honey BBQ. "KFC Beyond Fried Chicken is so delicious that it will be difficult for our customers to say that it is plant based," said Kevin Hochman, president and concept director of KFC US. Animal lovers, and those who understand that a plant-based diet is essential to reverse climate change, can now re-enter this fast-food chain.
